Sign up for an instrument fitting on the Home page. Come to Glenwood Intermediate School at your appointment time and try out the instruments! We will help you find the one that best fits YOU.
Band instruments are Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, and Percussion.
String Ensemble instruments are Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass.
Once you have decided to be in Band or Strings and have chosen an instrument, fill out the form included with the packet you will receive at your try out and return it to your teacher or submit the Google Form below to give permission for guidance to add you to band or strings.
You will be scheduled for the appropriate class.
We recommend that you start by renting a band or string instrument. Local music stores provide great, working instruments that are affordable.
You will need to obtain an instrument and method book for class. Information about recommended brands of instruments and required books included in the packets.
